The Italian Film Series is back with another exciting programming: Memory on Screen: Five Films on The Italian Resistance.
Moreover, this year the Cineclub Italiano will end with an international symposium entitled Re-Thinking Italian Resistance: Cinema, History, Literature, and Music, on March 20th, 2015.
Our first film, on Jan 27th, will be Vincere by renowned director Marco Bellocchio, the tormented love story between Benito Mussolini and his first wife Ida Dalser, at the onset of the dictator’s political career and his rise to power.

Last, but not least, the Cineclub Italiano is made possible thanks to the invaluable assistance of Diana Johnston, (PhD Candidate, CompLit) and Massimiliano Aravecchia (PhD Candidate, French Studies).
